Yesterday a very positive meeting was had with Chris Leech, Business Community Manager from Cross Country Trains. We are looking forward to a successful future working together to help promote safety to the younger members of our community and promote local businesses along the Penistone Line. Watch this space!
Yesterday evening we were blessed with lovely weather for our walk back from Silkstone Common station to Oxspring. Two weeks ago the Oxspring Brownies learnt how to stay safe on the railway and last night they took a trip on the train to Silkstone Common. If you would like to book a safety visit and trip please get in touch. The Brownies were very well behaved and a credit to Girl Guiding.
Out of respect for the victims of last night’s terror attack in Manchester; the RMT has postponed the dispute scheduled for the 30th of this month.
