Then an easy\nlast stretch along the old canal to Elsecar station.\nStart: 10.10am at BARNSLEY station. Finish: ELSECAR.\nDistance: 8 – 9 miles. Leader: David Cook (07717-497684)\nDepart: Huddersfield 0909\, Honley 0919\, Shepley 0929\, \nPenistone 0942 to arrive BARNSLEY at 0959.\nDepart: Lincoln 0723\, Worksop 0807 to Sheffield 0842 then:\nDepart: Sheffield 0935\, Meadowhall 0940\, Chapeltown 0947\, \nElsecar 0953\, Wombwell 0956 to arrive BARNSLEY at 1002. \n \nRAIL REPLACEMENT BUS SERVICE \nHuddersfield to & from Lockwood \nThe TransPennine Route Upgrade (TRU) will continue throughout 2024. There are periods when Huddersfield station will be completely closed to all services.
