DESCRIPTION:An interesting route crossing through the Moss Valley area south of Sheffield\, linking for a tram ride back to the city. \nStart: 9.15am DRONFIELD station. Finish: WHITE LANE tramstop. \nDistance: 8 – 9 miles. Leader: Alan Hawley \nDepart: Huddersfield 0712\, Shepley 0730\, Penistone 0743\, Barnsley 0800 then change for the direct service at Barnsley 0839 Meadowhall 0844\, Sheffield 0906 to arrive DRONFIELD at 0915. \nDepart: Lincoln 0724\, Retford 0758\, Worksop 0808 to arrive Sheffield at 0842 then change to the 0906 to DRONFIELD. \nRAIL REPLACEMENT BUS SERVICE: Huddersfield to & from Lockwood \nThe TransPennine Route Upgrade (TRU) will continue during 2025. There could be periods when Huddersfield station will be completely closed to all services.
