Linzey Scothern

Linzey studied at Sheffield University, and then served in the Royal Navy. Linzey worked for 30 years at Beckman Coulter. His office was in Nyon, Switzerland though Linzey worked all over Europe, the Middle East, Asia, South Africa and the USA. His role was Senior Customer Support Specialist for Automation, in laboratories and troubleshooter, plus training officer in Nyon, where he ran equipment courses for Engineers from those countries. He has also lived in Gibraltar, Devon and back to Sheffield where he was born.

Linzey served a term as lead Governer at Sheffield Children’s Foundation Trust and is Chairperson at Blackburn & Wincobank Conservative Club Ltd. He is now retired and has been a director at Penistone Line Partnership for several years. Linzey is active in local cricket, and he has a deep interest in local services, especially the railway.
