Schools Education

Rail safety education is taught to school pupils and uniformed groups at all curriculum key stages within our communities along the Penistone Line. Secondary education using STEM and STEAM learning activities encourage pupils to consider career options in rail. Talks can be arranged through our partners at Northern and Network Rail.

Download our rail safety leaflet.

Rail confidence is also taught with the addition of school train trips. Covid safety guidelines will apply. If you wish to discuss a bespoke workshop, for rail safety or rail confidence please contact Rowena at
