For midsummer, we follow towpath, field and woodland paths via the Tinsley Canal, Hill Top, Scholes Coppice, Thorpe Common, Smithy Wood and down to the Waggon & Horses in Chapeltown.

Start: 9.50am at MEADOWHALL        Finish: CHAPELTOWN.   

(meet up at Stand ‘A’ downstairs in bus interchange).

Depart: Huddersfield 0812, Shepley 0830, Penistone 0842 to arrive Barnsley 0858 then change to BUS dep Barnsley 0908, Wombwell BUS 0923, Elsecar BUS 0928, Chapeltown BUS 0938 to arrive MEADOWHALL 0948.

Depart: Lincoln 0724, Saxilby 0733, Gainsborough LR 0745, Retford 0758, Worksop 0808 to Sheffield 0842 then:

Depart: Sheffield 0915 to arrive MEADOWHALL 0920.

The TransPennine Route Upgrade (TRU) will continue during 2025. There could be periods when Huddersfield station will be completely closed to all services. During these periods, a rail replacement bus service will depart from Huddersfield to connect with the Penistone Line train at Lockwood station.
