A pleasant route from Penistone station via Castle Green and High Lea Farm on the Penistone Boundary Walk, Lindley Wood and Lower Coates to Silkstone Common and onto Dodworth via Champnay Hill and Farm.
(Return trains depart hourly from Dodworth at xx 09 to Lockwood and at xx 52 to Barnsley and Sheffield ).
Start: 9.45 am at PENISTONE station.
Finish: DODWORTH.
