As you will all be aware, there are warnings regarding the current weather situation in the North. Disruption is expected in some areas of our network due to predicted heavy snowfall.
Customers are asked to check before travelling to avoid delays or cancellations.
Heavy snowfall is expected from Thursday 10 March until the morning of Friday 11 March, with the highest concentration falling in the Peak District and Pennine areas.
Some locations are expected to be at greater risk of disruption due to snowfall, so please check before you travel especially on the routes below.
Bradford FS to Ilkley and Leeds
Calder Valley (Leeds to Blackpool/Manchester via Bradford)
Hope Valley (Sheffield to Manchester)
Penistone Line (Sheffield to Huddersfield)
Buxton line (Buxton to Manchester via Hazel Grove)
