BUS REPLACEMENT SERVICE – Huddersfield to/from Lockwood:

The TransPennine Route Upgrade (TRU) is continuing through 2024, so there will be planned disruption to services. This will mainly affect the services between Manchester, Huddersfield, Leeds and York.

However, there are periods when Huddersfield station will be completely closed to all services. During these periods, a rail replacement bus service will shuttle from Huddersfield to connect with the Penistone Line train at Lockwood.

The first period for bus replacement will be Saturday 17 February – Saturday 9 March inclusive. Bus timings for Huddersfield to Lockwood are shown in Northern Timetable No. 43
